Tatum Wozniak

Tatum was born and raised in Sunnyvale, CA where her love for dance blossomed at the ripe age of 6. She began her training at Dance Attack Studios in a plethora of styles. These include: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. She started competing at the age of 12. Her dance company was entitled, DAC PAC, which stood for Dance Attack Contemporary Performing Arts Company. It was the mission of DAC PAC to cultivate and to prepare students for a successful career in the dance field.
 
Throughout middle school and high school, Tatum competed all over the United States at conventions and competitions. To name a few: NYCDA, JUMP, Nuvo, LADM, Artists Simply Human, Co. Dance, Adrenaline, Hollywood Vibe, West Coast Dance Explosion, and 24/7. She attained numerous scholarships and opportunities over the years. She has worked with well-known choreographers such as Anthony Morigerato, Nick Lazzarini, Melody Lacayanga, Sidra Bell, Chris Jacobson, Karen Chuang, Chantel Aguirre, Mike Esperanza, and Anthony Lomuljo. 

Tatum assisted mentor, Cheryl Copeland, her sophomore and junior years of high school. She has also assisted mentor, Sarah Schneeweis for the past few years as well. Tatum attended the 3 week BHUMN Summer Forum in Austin, Texas in 2015. She was also accepted into the Peridance Summer Program in New York City. Tatum danced for two years on her college dance team at the California State University, Chico where she was also voted captain by her fellow teammates. 

Tatum served as a substitute dance teacher and assistant in high school at Dance Attack Studios in Sunnyvale, CA. She continued her instructional career at HYPE Dance Studio in Chico, CA. She educated children from 3 to 18 years old in both a private and group setting. Tatum taught a variety of styles. She served as a Studio Manager and Co-Director of the competitive dance team entitled, Fusion Dance Company. She helped facilitate and choreograph the Fusion Dance Company auditions and competitive group routines, solo’s and duo’s. She has choreographed and set court routines for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA. Tatum was also offered the opportunity to judge at regional dance competitions for the Universal Dance Association.

  Tatum has always had an affinity for movement expression. She adores educating the youth and implementing her knowledge and passion with those around her. Tatum hopes to one day open her own studio and have a strong competitive unit within said space. Dance has always been her joy and it is her life mission to spread this inexplicable feeling wherever she may be.
