Dancing since the age of three . AJ has trained extensively in ballet, Latin ballroom, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. She was accepted into the Oakland School for the Arts, danced for A.R.T., a contemporary company, for 4 years and competed and performed with Chapkis Dance. AJ has won first place titles for Latin ballroom competitions and also competed and performed with Dance Fusion for two years. AJ has been recognized winning convention scholarships, solo awards, and a meeting with an LA talent agency. Additionally, she trained in Colorado for a year at Block 1750 dance studio. AJ has participated in numerous workshops and challenging classes as well as performing for special performances at Raiders' games, 49er games, and San Francisco City Hall. Most recently, AJ has been traveling to LA for dance classes and seeking opportunities to teach. Dance Fusion is happy to have our “own" return to our studio as a member of our teaching staff.
